At HAKENSTEEK, we work hard to get your order delivered safely and as quickly as possible.
All orders are manufactured, packed, and dispatched from South Africa.
Order Processing
Most orders are processed within 2–5 business days.
During promotional periods, product launches, holidays, or high-demand periods, processing times may be slightly longer.
Where products are made-to-order or temporarily out of stock, customers will be notified of any significant delays.
Delivery Areas
We currently ship throughout South Africa.
If you require delivery outside South Africa, please contact us before placing your order.
Delivery Time frames
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
- Major Centers: 1–3 business days
- Regional Areas: 3–5 business days
- Remote Areas: 5–10 business days
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on courier operations and location.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Delivery location
- Order size and weight
- Courier rates
Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed before payment is completed.
Delivery Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- Delivery details are accurate
- Contact information is correct
- Someone is available to receive the order
Additional courier charges resulting from incorrect delivery information may be charged to the customer.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information via email or SMS where available.
This allows you to monitor your shipment directly with the courier.
Damaged or Missing Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If your package arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect:
- Notify us within 7 days of delivery
- Retain all packaging materials
- Provide photographs of the product and packaging

HAKENSTEEK cannot guarantee delivery dates but will assist customers in tracking and resolving delayed shipments.
Order Collection
Where collection is offered, customers will be notified once their order is ready.
Orders will only be released upon confirmation of payment.
Large Orders & Pegboard Kits
Some larger pegboard kits and bulk orders may be shipped in multiple packages to ensure safe transportation.
Tracking details will be provided for each shipment where applicable.
